You'll sit at the centre of Small Business Banking QLD, partnering with the General Manager as a trusted operator to drive operational effectiveness, alignment and momentum across the leadership team.
Do work that matters:
You'll play a critical role in how the business runs day-to-day, bringing structure, discipline and visibility to priorities, and ensuring leaders are focused, aligned and delivering meaningful outcomes for our customers and people.
More specifically you will:
Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager - Small Business Banking QLD, driving operational cadence, governance and business rhythm
Manage priorities, ensuring the General Manager's time and leadership focus are aligned to critical business outcomes
Lead coordination of leadership team activities including planning cycles, forums, reporting and action tracking
Establish and embed effective meeting governance to drive clarity, decision-making and accountability
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring outcomes, while managing recruitment workflows including approvals, interview coordination and stakeholder alignment
Support onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated integration into the business
Identify and implement process improvements, while anticipating risks and coordinating cross-functional activity to maintain momentum and delivery

Proven experience in operational management, including driving governance, business cadence and execution
Experience supporting senior leaders in complex, fast-paced environments
Strong judgement and the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
High attention to detail, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
The ability to operate with discretion while constructively challenging to improve outcomes
Resilience, adaptability and a calm, professional approach under pressure
