An exciting unique opportunity has become available for a career-focused Personal/Executive Assistant to join a highly successful boutique dispute resolution firm and support the Director.

 

Company:

Resolution Partners, is an innovative mediation and dispute resolution service based in Fortitude Valley, in Brisbane. We specialise in respectful, out-of-court Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes including mediation, family dispute resolution, parenting coordination and collaborative law.

 

About the Role:

As an Executive Assistant at Resolution Partners, you will be the right hand to the Director, providing vital support in managing their busy schedule, facilitating communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This role is ideal for a legal assistant seeking a career change or more flexibilty and who is eager to contribute to the field of dispute resolution.

 

Job Type:

This position is a full-time role and is a hybrid work-from-home and in-office role. Our office is located in a beautiful, heritage-listed cottage in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane. We have excellent facilities including free undercover car parking, a gym and a pool – all available for use by our staff. 

 

Please note we are looking for applicants who can provide a long-term commitment to the company and role, so please do not apply if this is not suitable for you. 

 

Some of your duties will include:

  • Extensive diary management
  • Management of multiple email accounts
  • Inbound and outbound calls to clients and professionals
  • Liaising with clients, lawyers and other industry professionals in person, by phone and by email
  • Management of client files, referrals and records 
  • Invoicing & debtor management (Xero)
  • Drafting and preparing various documents
  • Drafting emails and correspondence
  • Acting as a central point of contact between the Director and internal/external clients and stakeholders
  • Travel coordination and management
  • Basic marketing tasks, such as creating email campaigns and social media posts
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks
  • Attend to and manage various personal tasks for the Director

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in a law firm or dispute resolution practice (family law experience) would be advantageous
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Attention to detail, organised and efficient
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanour
  • Initiative and enjoy building client relations
  • To present in a professional manner
  • A positive attitude and able to work in a small team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with competing demands
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel) and Apple Mac hardware applications (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Knowledge of Xero, Zoom & Daylite preferred, but not essential.
