Executive Assistant to EGM People & Culture Full Time

We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high level support to the EGM People & Culture, Suncorp Bank based in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.

The key purpose of the role is to partner with the EGM People & Culture, Suncorp Bank by providing outstanding administrative and time management support to the EGM and providing targeted assistance to the broader People & Culture, Suncorp Bank leadership team. This position has the opportunity to play an intrinsic role in sustaining and evolving the successful culture within the whole team.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide critical support to the EGM in running their department, including administrative, and other key activities.
  • Calendar and email management to ensure the EGM’s time is structured according to their priorities.
  • Ensure documents, including Committee submissions and any Executive Leadership Team and Board papers are of a high quality and distributed in accordance with procedure and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to support the EGM, including ensuring effective communication and managing competing expectations.
  • Coordinate People & Culture, Suncorp Bank EGM leadership team meeting cadence, agendas, minutes and following up action items.
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines required for achievement of department and Suncorp Bank objectives.
  • Support compliance with relevant legislation and Group policies and procedures.
  • Prudent, effective and timely management of monthly AMEX statements, purchase orders and invoice processing and department cost centre monitoring
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities for the seamless running of the People & Culture, Suncorp Bank EGM office.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous EA/MA experience supporting a senior executive within a corporate environment.
  • Banking industry experience and knowledge beneficial.
  • Advanced skills in core Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (mandatory)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skill
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Possess a high attention to detail, good judgement and high levels of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional time management/organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage/prioritise workflow with minimal supervision.
