About the position
This role is pivotal in shaping the success of the Managing Director (MD), ensuring seamless operations, and efficient time management in all tasks.
As a trusted business partner, you’ll collaborate closely with the MD, acting as a gatekeeper, advisor, and facilitator for maintaining a strategic focus. Employing your exceptional organisational skills, keen eye for detail and people-centric approach, you’ll easily stay one step ahead of your leader’s every need. Able to cope with the dual demands of being a tactical thinker, alongside providing personal support duties for your leader’s many lifestyle requirements, your flexible and proactive approach will be front and center.

Position responsibilities
- providing Business Partner-level advice to advance strategic outcomes for your MD
- coordinating inbound and outbound correspondence in a professional and timely manner, including preparation of briefs and responses as required
- providing quality and timely administrative support
- preparing daily packs including meeting agendas and briefs
- managing a busy diary to ensure time is spent on key priorities, gatekeeping numerous daily requests to maximise productivity
- managing agendas, minutes, and actions registers ensuring task tracking, completion, and reporting for all meetings, including Advisory and Board meetings
- building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate enquiries, ensure effective communication flow, and provide high quality advice
- maintaining various electronic filing systems to ensure ease of access
- arranging catering for meetings, or for your leader, as required
- providing administrative and diary management support to the Finance Director on an adhoc basis
- managing national and international events
- coordinating all aspects of domestic and international travel arrangements
- assisting with various other personal matters and errands as needed
