Job Description - Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer - with Great Benefits

We are hiring a remarkable Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer to join our fast-paced team at Brave Foundation in Ringwood, Melbourne VIC.

  • Part time maximum term contract (until 26 June 2026)
  • 5 days per week (30.4 hours, 0.8 FTE)
  • Salary range: $85,000 to $89,000 base salary plus super (pro-rata for 0.8 FTE) and generous salary packaging benefit
  • Family supportive workplace with emphasis on healthy work life balance, allowing for hybrid working with flexible working hours (subject to role requirements)
  • Office based role located in Ringwood, VIC

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic and professional Executive Assistant to the CEO. You will be the CEO’s right-hander and also responsible for providing administrative support to Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and various functions across the organisation.

You will work with a supportive, fast-paced and friendly team in Ringwood, Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, including email, schedule and travel coordination, document support, managing correspondence, and liaising with external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO and SLT.
  • As a member of the Office of the CEO team, work closely with the Government Relations and Partnerships Advisor and Communications Advisor to maximise CEO communication and engagement opportunities with government, partners and the media.
  • Support the wider team with special projects, meeting preparation and delivery, and the collation of documentation and reports.
  • Manage conference registrations, stakeholder meetings, site visits and travel arrangements for management and staff.
  • Support the CEO and SLT to process expenses and invoices.
  • Coordinate internal events including regular and ad-hoc staff meetings and national staff conferences (overseeing travel logistics, venue, catering, and other arrangements).
  • Support the Head of Corporate Services to manage the organisational resources including office equipment and supplies for the corporate office and all program sites.
  • Manage and direct incoming general enquiries.
  • Schedule and prepare Board and Sub-Committee meetings, including travel, documents/papers and following up action items/lists.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience working as an Executive Assistant who enjoys a varied role working with a highly professional, committed and fun team.
  • Ability to professionally engage with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, preferably in a not for profit/community services environment.
  • Acts with the highest level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality as a key member of the Office of the CEO.
  • Highly organised and able to respond quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic working environment.
