A leading State Government department is looking to engage a skilled Executive Assistant/Administration Officer to join a highly capable team. In this you will provide administrative and support services to the Director, including stakeholder engagement, diary management, organising meetings, and planning events. The successful Executive Assistant/Administration Officer will be offered an initial 3 month contract, looking to start ASAP.

The successful Executive Assistant/Administration Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting, and event coordination, to support the effective operation of the team/unit. 
  • Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements. 
  • Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures. 

The successful Executive Assistant/Administration Officer will have experience in the following:

  • Responded to enquires and escalate and redirect issues as required. 
  • Updated and maintained records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, as required. 
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite, TRIM, and MiniApp. 
  • Delivering multiple administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes, and milestones.
