As part of QGCDG's senior leadership team and reporting to the Chief Customer and Digital Officer, the Executive Director, Business Services will lead the corporate services function and also work on designing commercialisation strategies and pricing models to enhance QGCDG's internal fee-for-service model, which spans all of Queensland Government.

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to lead the finance, human resources, and digital governance team to support the executive leadership group with strategic workforce and resource planning, annual business planning, and budget development, and oversee IT governance and compliance processes and frameworks to manage risk. This will all be underpinned by accurate and timely reporting to key QGCDG stakeholders.

This will require demonstrated experience leading a corporate services function or an advisor providing best practice, experience developing strategies and pricing models to foster commercial relationships or the skills and attributes needed to achieve this, strong financial acumen and attention to detail, proven people management and development skills, knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI, highly developed stakeholder engagement and interpersonal abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter with strong commercial acumen who wants to utilise public resources as effectively and efficiently as possible for the benefit of all stakeholders.
