As part of QGCDG's extended leadership team and reporting to the General Manager - Digital Economy, the Executive Director, Strategic Delivery will have a critical impact on how all Queenslanders, particularly those in rural and regional communities, participate in a thriving digital future.
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to lead a high performing team of professionals and a significant budget to build a strong First Nations digital economy, improve Queensland's digital connectivity through government and industry partnerships, improve digital inclusion for digitally disadvantaged cohorts, increase digital adoption and build digital skill and capability development across government, business, and industry in both metropolitan and regional areas.
This will require strong program and/or portfolio management experience with strategic vision and thought leadership skills, the ability to develop and motivate a high performing team, the financial acumen to deliver projects to budget, and outstanding stakeholder and partnership skills that will enable you to interact with diverse government, industry, membership and community groups and navigate complex political environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter with a ‘can do' attitude who thrives on developing and delivering a diverse range of strategic programs and projects in a changing digital landscape.
