This is a pivotal role responsible for leading our national funerals business—driving performance, shaping culture, and delivering against our growth strategy.

About the Role

As Executive General Manager, you will lead a large, multi-site and multi-brand operation across Australia. You will be accountable for delivering commercial outcomes while ensuring every service is centred on care, compassion, and excellence for the families we serve.

This role balances strategic leadership with operational execution, with a strong focus on building a high-performance culture with heart.

Key Accountabilities

Lead a High-Performance Culture

• Inspire and lead teams to deliver exceptional service and business results
• Embed InvoCare values and foster an environment of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Develop leadership capability and strengthen succession pipelines

Deliver Customer Excellence

• Champion outstanding service experiences that build trust and loyalty
• Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, NPS and brand advocacy

Drive Growth and Commercial Outcomes

• Deliver market share growth, sales and EBITDA performance
• Lead local area strategies and brand alignment across regions
• Identify and execute opportunities to enhance revenue and operational performance

Operational Leadership & Transformation

• Oversee a complex, multi-location operation to ensure consistency and quality
• Lead change initiatives that deliver sustainable improvements
• Drive efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement

Safety, Risk & Governance

• Ensure strong compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Promote a proactive safety culture and effective risk management
