Our client is a part of a prominent group of companies who are providers of multi-modal public transport services and tourism experiences, boasting performance-driven capabilities across ferry, bus, and light rail - both domestically and internationally.

Due to a number of recent successful acquisitions and substantial business growth, our client is looking to bring on board an Executive General Manager of Operations to join their national operations team.

Reporting to the CEO, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting the existing national public transport operations, by providing critical support to the existing regional Managing Directors.

In this role, you'll be tasked with guiding Managing Directors (MDs) to align business unit operations with company objectives. Your visionary leadership will drive the organisations collective efforts towards overarching goals, while fostering collaboration with the CEO and MDs to identify synergies and foster cross-functional initiatives. Your ability to build bridges will unlock new opportunities for innovation and growth.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for developing KPIs, tracking performance, driving EBA negotiations and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement across the board. 

Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices to operate at the peak of efficiency. Your strategic insights will guide our business planning efforts, ensuring sustainable success in a rapidly evolving landscape, while also ensuring the timely implementation of national objectives and compliance, upholding our reputation as industry leaders.
