Human Resource Business Partners are both coaches and change agents, influencing decisions and creating positive impact across the teams they support.
HR Business Partners provide strategic people advice and closely partner with senior business leaders to drive leading people strategies and optimize business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner with leaders to develop and execute the HR plan
Provide high calibre advice and coaching to leaders, as well as using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions
Focus areas include talent management & succession planning, driving high performing teams, strategic workforce planning, organisational design and change, leadership coaching, organisational effectiveness, and championing diversity, equality and a positive employee experience.
This role partners with EGMs across the Retail Bank and reports to the General Manager RBS HR.
The role is also required to effectively partner with senior business leaders and key teams within HR including the Group People Services, Centres of Expertise and Crew leads to design and implement people strategies, plans and processes that respond to the evolving business contexts.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Substantial, relevant experience within human resources or a related field
High calibre advisory, communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior leaders and quickly build trust
Passion for building culture learning and customer obsession
Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
Proven ability to lead initiatives and comfortable navigating change, ambiguity and competing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills that lead to commercial solutions
Track record of effectively advising and coaching leaders on key business and strategic HR drivers
Successful design and implementation of strategic and transformational people initiatives
Thorough understanding of current best practice people, culture & engagement methodologies
Growth mindset and curiosity
10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 5+ years as HR Business Partner
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
Post graduate qualifications are desired but not essential
