Joining the Monarto Safari Resort team, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests.

About the role

The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. This position involves leading the kitchen team and ensuring that all culinary activities align with the Executive Chef’s vision. Key responsibilities include the meticulous preparation and execution of the menu for both guests and employees at the Monarto Safari Resort.

The Executive Sous Chef is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of food production, compliance, and hygiene within the Resort. This position necessitates a strong emphasis on quality control to ensure outstanding dining experiences. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to maintain culinary standards and promote a positive atmosphere in the kitchen.

The salary for this position is $80,000.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • a minimum of 4 years experience in similar position
  • Commercial Cookery Certificate
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to produce excellent high-quality food
  • High level of attention to detail
