Brand new and purpose built, Club Tarneit is seeking an exceptional Food and Beverage Attendant – working across our Bars, Bistro, Café and Function & Events departments. Working closely with the club’s Management team to lead and shape the future of our Club. Other Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and ensuring a superior guest experience 
• Taking orders and providing food and beverage service in a timely manner and ensure all products that are served and displayed are of the highest quality
• Providing detailed knowledge of the menu, suggestively upselling and answering guest queries 
• Communicating with the kitchen and other FOH staff
• Set up and clearing of tables, functions and events 
• Bar Service across multiple bars
• Maintain cleaning rosters in all departments when on shift and ensure the department in which you are working is kept clean, current and presentable at all times
• Handle stock and cash responsibly and honestly, reporting any over rings or variances to management immediately, record stock transfers and participate in Stocktakes, as required
• Maintain comprehensive cleanliness and organization of venue including clearing and cleaning entrance, foyer, inside and outside tables in TAB and bar area, outside bistro dining area, and associated areas, sweeping up rubbish on floors and cleaning and polishing glasses as necessary, and replacing ashtrays in smoking area
• Support the department head in duties and information as necessary to enhance the daily operations, motivation and morale

Your Qualifications and Skills: 

• Proficient in adhering to club policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Demonstrates excellent cash handling skills, maintaining accuracy even in high-volume transactions
• Exhibits superior customer resolution skills, proficient in deescalating issues and fostering customer satisfaction
• Accustomed to working within responsible service of alcohol and food, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Possesses strong food & beverage skills, enhancing customer dining experiences
• Capable of maintaining the cleanliness of the venue, contributing to a hygienic and welcoming environment
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills, proficient in documentation and task management
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills, prioritizing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in upselling techniques, effective in boosting sales and improving revenue
• Holds both Responsible Service of Alcohol Accreditation and Use Hygiene Practices for Food Safety Accreditation, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and safety compliance
