Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Melbourne office (based in our new St Kilda premises) is our largest office in Victoria. It is well-established in providing construction support, temporary works design, site investigations, and advice to clients in the infrastructure, energy, and construction space.

The team of 30 is looking for an experienced geotechnical engineer to oversee the delivery of local and Victoria-wide projects. We are looking for consultants with experience managing projects, providing design solutions and training junior staff. You must be competent utilising geotechnical design software's and have at least two years of experience providing temporary and permanent works design for clients in Australia.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering degree
• 5+ years experience working in a geotechnical consultancy
• CPEng, alternative relevant professional registration (AGS-Eng Aust, AusIMM, IPENZ Prof. Eng Geo) OR progressing formal application towards CPEng or relevant professional registration
• Valid full-time working rights in Australia and local experience
• Ability to travel when required
• A full Australian drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
