We’re now opening a brand new restaurant on the Northside and we’re looking for Junior Team Members and Experienced Supervisors to join the launch team!

Supervisor Position:

Are you a natural leader with a passion for great food and great teamwork? The Yiros Shop is opening a brand-new restaurant on the Northside and we’re on the hunt for a dedicated and energetic Supervisor to help lead the team to success!

Supervisors at The Yiros Shop are the bridge between team members and management! This is a stepping stone to higher leadership roles, with growth opportunities into Assistant Restaurant Manager and beyond.

We are needing 6 Supervisors to be available to either work Morning shifts or Afternoon shifts/ or both if possible.

It is crucial that we can have our supervisors work during peak hours which is the middle of the day ( Lunch ) And evening (Dinner) as this is during the busiest times we need support.

Roster & Trading Hours

Trading Hours: 8 AM – 10 PM

Shifts:

• Morning availability between: 7 AM – 3 PM

• Afternoon availability between: 3 PM – 11 PM

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in running the store smoothly, ensuring our team delivers top-notch service and fresh, quality food every time. You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead and support team members during shifts
• Train, coach, and motivate staff to deliver top performance
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
• Assist in rostering and managing shift coverage
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Ensure the store follows all health, safety, and compliance regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organsation in all areas of the restaurant
• Act as the key point of contact between team members and management
• Provide shift reports and updates on store performance
• Assist in implementing new policies and procedures

Junior Team Member Position:

We are looking for Junior Team Members who are available to work after school hours Monday to Friday, weekends and during the school holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving up our famous Greek street food
• Keeping things clean and tidy (we’re big on hygiene!)
• Delivering friendly, fast and efficient customer service
• Learning the ropes of food safety and kitchen operations
• Handling cash and mastering the register
• Working with a tight-knit crew to make each shift fun and productive

What We’re Looking For

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn – no experience needed!
• Someone who can keep up in a fast-paced (but super fun) environment
• Strong communication skills – we love friendly faces!
• A keen eye for cleanliness and food safety
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and school holidays
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in fast food before – but not essential

• Food Safety Certificate - I'm Alert Food Safety Course - FREE online
• Working rights - passport, Birth Certificate and visa grant for international workers
• RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment ( For 18 years and older)
