Export Control Officer

Our client URGENTLY requires an Export Control Officer for a 25 months + Contract in Canberra.

The Export Control Officer will develop export control approval application packages such as Third-Party Retransfers and Technical Assistance Agreements. You will also support auditing and record keeping of export controls agreements and would assist the Export Control Manager with the development and maturation of the organisations export controls management framework.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation and policy relevant to Defence projects.
• Ability to develop and maintain Project Plans, Instructions, and Registers.
• Experience with records and information management, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience in and knowledge of US export controls and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) would be highly desirable.

Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
