Job Description - Export Operator

What You Can Expect:

Coordinate air and sea freight export shipments from booking through to departure.
Prepare and process export documentation accurately and on time.
Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and overseas partners.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage delays or exceptions.
Liaise with customers, overseas offices, suppliers, and carriers.
Ensure shipment milestones are updated and maintained within operational systems.
Manage customer enquiries and provide timely shipment updates.
Verify shipping instructions and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Support billing, reporting, and operational administration activities.

What You Bring:

2-4 years' experience in international freight forwarding.
Experience managing air and/or sea freight export shipments.
Strong knowledge of export documentation and freight forwarding processes.
Experience using CargoWise One or a similar freight management system.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to your work.
