ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you professional and people-oriented?  Your role is to deliver a high standard of housekeeping services to our valued residents that will enhance residents' way of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering quality housekeeping services in a hygienic and safe manner, ensuring residents can live in a clean and well-maintained space
• Assisting with the preparation of vacant rooms to prepare for new resident admissions
• Being responsive and sensitive to resident and customer needs and information
• Monitoring the safe use of chemicals when performing duties and performing regular operational checks
• Ensuring efficient marking and labelling of resident clothing and track lost property as required
• Ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with infection control standards and OHS requirements

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Working rights within Australia
• National Police Clearance less than 6 months old or NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable)
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organisational and time management skills 
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
