Expression of Interest - Markers and Invigilators

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is seeking expressions of interest from suitable applicants for casual work opportunities as markers and invigilators (test administrators). We seek practicing or retired teachers, with experience in Australian primary or secondary schools, to join our team of casuals who work on various large-scale assessment projects for state and national clients.

Roles include the following activities:

• marking student responses in an online environment (corporate centre-based and remote)


• administering assessments in classrooms and corporate centres


• supervising a team of test administrators


• quality monitoring

No experience in large-scale marking or invigilation is required. Full training will be provided.

To be eligible for these positions you will need to be residing in Australia.
