External Audit Manager - Urgent Hire

External Audit is a core area within our organisation where we provide external audit services to a variety of entities, including publicly listed entities, unlisted public and proprietary companies as well as not-for-profit entities.

We are currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified Audit Manager and Assistant Audit Manager to join our well-established Audit and Assurance team in Perth but may also provide assistance in Sydney as required.

Our Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as Manager
• Be qualified for CA / CPA or equivalent
• Have good communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients 
• Have proven people management and leadership experience
• Be technically competent in International Accounting and Auditing standards
• Be able to control the audit process from planning through to completion
• Supervising engagement team as needed
• Good time-management skills when conducting multiple audit tasks

As an Audit Manager your key duties shall include:

• Working closely with Directors / Principals to ensure client work is completed to a high standard.
• Leading consolidation processes for clients with multiple subsidiaries.
• Executing audit engagements and investigations and preparing audit reports ensuring key deliverables are met.
• Reviewing audit work performed by the engagement team.
• Identifying, managing, and reporting on financial risks.
• Supervising engagement teams, monitoring, and reporting on staff productivity and effectiveness of the system of internal controls.
