EZConcept Quoting Specialist

As part of the estimating team this role is responsible for completing take-offs, quotes and schedules using information provided by the sales team or taken direct from customers. This role works closely with the business development and sales teams to provide timely and accurate job specific quotations.

KEY EFFECTIVENESS AREAS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with other members of the estimating team to allocate work to achieve the shortest customer response times.


2. Prioritise allocated work based on guidance provided by your supervisor.


3. Complete take-offs as required creating detailed schedules for quoting.


4. Prepare quotes and check for accuracy prior to submitting.


5. Support Inside Sales team with quote amendments and updates.


6. Prepare drawings using agreed templates for manufacturing purposes.


7. Identify opportunities to upsell hardware and door jambs and highlight to the inside sales team.


8. Highlight when the workload exceeds the time available so that work can be reassigned internally or to contractors.


9. Provide phone support and technical assistance as required.

General Duties:

1. As a member of the EZ Concept team maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, financial details and customer/supplier details. Abide by the Studco confidentiality agreement as contained within the Studco Employee Handbook.


2. Be accountable for your time.


3. Understand and maintain correct protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) when interacting with other team members, or customers and suppliers.


4. Be a team player. Work with the EZ Concept/Studco Team for the good of the whole business.


5. Abide by communication protocol for all EZ Concept/Studco Team members.


6. Respond to emails & phone calls promptly.

SELECTION CRITERIA

 Preferred knowledge:

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information


• Knowledge of construction industry.


• Estimating and quoting experience.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.


• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.


• Experience with 2D or 3D cad programs an advantage.


• Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable.

Preferred skills:

• Attention to detail.


• Ability to interpret 2D drawings of building layouts.


• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D drawings of parts and components.
