Job Description - Facility Clerical Officer

Be part of a distinguished aged care organisation committed to serving multiple local communities, celebrated for its commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care. We're currently on the lookout for a proactive Facility Clerical Officer to provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Home Manager.

About the Role:

Make a lasting impression! As the Facility Clerical Officer, you play a pivotal role as the first and last point of contact, emphasising the importance of a friendly smile and professional demeanour.

In this position, based in the Penrith area, you will:

Extend a warm welcome to visitors and assist with the check-in process.

Manage phone inquiries, ensuring effective direction and resolution.

Handle the distribution and collection of information, including forms, emails, staff inquiries, and day-to-day staff replacement as needed.

Undertake general budget management, including coding invoices, receipting monies, and overseeing petty cash reconciliation.

Create and maintain organized files.

Fulfil any other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

Enjoys assisting others and possesses exceptional customer service skills.

Boasts at least 5 years of administrative/clerical experience, showcasing stellar time management and multitasking abilities.

Excels both independently and as a collaborative team member.

Navigates Microsoft Office programs with ease.

Is willing to obtain a current police check if not already in possession.

It would be advantageous if you have:

Familiarity with the Care System Rostering payroll system.

Prior experience in an Aged Care environment.
