Job Description - Facility Manager

WANT A CLINICAL LEADERSHIP ROLE THAT’S GOING PLACES?

While the job title says Senior Care Manager, it’s actually a Facility Manager we are seeking.

Your focus will be purely clinical leadership , without the additional hospitality services, maintenance, finance and the whole operations.

You will be Captain of just the care team. That’s what makes this journey even more attractive. This leader we’re looking for is a skilled Navigator, highly likely having been either a Care Manager or Facility Manager before.

Capable of confidently guiding the clinical team through the residential aged care landscape, you will ensure everyone stays on course . Adept at steering through challenges, holding staff accountable , and always keeping the destination in sight, you will foster a positive and collaborative working culture .

You will have an invested approach ensuring a smooth journey , prioritising a ‘consumer first’ mindset.

While high-level verbal and written communication skills will help you put a good spin on things, you’ll also need:

  • RN AHPRA Registration
  • Clinical leadership experience in aged care
  • A strong hold on compliance and clinical governance
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Confidence in your clinical leadership
  • Ability to lead care practice change

Reporting to the Executive Care Manger your responsibilities include:

  • Embedding strong clinical leadership
  • Forming strong bonds with families and residents
  • Upskilling, mentoring and coaching the clinical and care team
  • Ensuring compliance and first-class customer experience
