Factory Cleaner / Sanitisation - Positive Work Culture

Garlo's Pies is a 100% Australian owned and operated family business which bakes premium quality pies and pastry products, servicing over 400+ food service customers, major supermarkets, airlines in Australia and exporting to 9 countries around the world.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our Sanitisation team at Garlo's Pies. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of our food manufacturing facility from Monday - Friday.

You will need to be available to start:

From 2pm up to 10pm between Monday - Thursday; and 

8am - 2pm on Friday

NO WEEKEND WORK

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, and surfaces to ensure food safety standards are met.

- Disinfect and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.

- Remove rubbish and recycling materials from designated areas.

- Monitor and refill cleaning supplies as needed.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.

What We Are Looking For:

- Prior experience in cleaning in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures.

- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as needed.

- Familiarity with WHS and/or HACCP principles.

- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
