This National law firm has identified a need for a senior Family lawyer to join the team. The firm has an interesting and impressive growth story and now growth trajectory. In recent years, the firm has grown and increased to two offices nationally, yet has retained a positive and collegiate culture.

The firm has made the decision to add to the partnership in Brisbane. This is a very rare opportunity for a senior practitioner to come in and not only leverage off existing work and clients, but to takeover an existing practice.

It is an exciting time for the firm as it is very much in a growth phase and there is a rare opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join the close-knit team and spearhead the Family Law practice, with immediate Partnership on offer. 

About You

You will be an experienced Family Lawyer, likely a Special Counsel, looking to step up to the Partner level, or an existing Partner. You will have a minimum of 10 years experience gained in a family law practice.  A specialist accreditation would be highly regarded. 

You will enjoy working across the full spectrum of family law matters with a focus on property settlements, complex disputes, alternative dispute resolution and children’s issues, divorce and spousal maintenance.

You will come from a reputable mid-tier or boutique law firm and be confident in your abilities to capitalise on the opportunities provided to you at this firm in order to create your desired practice. 

Rarely, there is no expectation for a portable client base. The work is there for the taking. You will be supported by the junior lawyers on the team.
