As F&B host, you are responsible for creating welcoming and unforgettable experiences for our guests while being based at our U bar, restaurant and living room. As part of your daily shift, you will be preparing and serving delicious drinks, from morning barista-style coffees to late night cocktails. Picture yourself and your colleagues as memory makers, where you won’t hide behind a bar, but you will connect with our guests and cover activities in our Ubar, restaurant, living room, library and meeting rooms. During your shift, you are engaged in: 

• Creating excitement and storytelling around our local F&B products, suppliers, initiatives and services;
• Preparing and serving barista-style coffees and teas;
• Serving our guests in the meeting rooms and living room;
• Preparing and serving local beers, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages in our Ubar;
• Creating an inviting and cozy ambiance that sets the stage for a positive stay from the very first hello;
• Spread moments of joy by surprising our guests with unexpected gestures;
• Address guests’ concerns and find swift solutions to secure their happiness;
• Help out occasionally covering a shift in the check-in area. 

With a genuine and friendly nature, you effortlessly build connections with others. As a team player, you thrive in an environment of open communication and honest feedback. We seek an individual who not only serves our guests but also shares a passion for our menu, explaining flavors and creating unforgettable food experiences. You are also driven by a passion for sustainability. Next to this, the following requirements apply: 

• Relevant F&B experience and/or great storyteller;
• Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus;
• Parttime and flexible, with shifts from 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00;
• Must have a heart for sustainability;
• You are legally allowed to work in Belgium.

• Salary according to category 6 of the PC302.
