The Yiros Shop is a family owned and operated business that pays homage to traditional Greek street food by adding a new yet authentic modern twist.

The Yiros Shop has quickly become one of Queensland’s most favourite fast-food Restaurants serving traditional Greek Yiros filled with delicious tastes and flavours, snack-boxes, salads and delicious Greek desserts. Our stores have a fun, chilled out atmosphere for our customers and cater for 50/50 eat-in and takeaway.

The Yiros Shop currently has several locations stretching across Brisbane, Moreton Bay region and the Gold Coast region.

Are you a natural leader with a passion for great food and great teamwork? The Yiros Shop is opening a brand-new store at Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre, and we’re on the hunt for a dedicated and energetic Supervisor to help lead the team to success!

Supervisors at The Yiros Shop are the bridge between team members and management! This is a stepping stone to higher leadership roles, with growth opportunities into Assistant Restaurant Manager and beyond.

We are needing 6 Supervisors to be available to either work Morning shifts or Afternoon shifts-Please see below for hours.

Roster & Trading Hours

Chermside Trading Hours: 8 AM – 10 PM

Shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM

• Afternoon Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in running the store smoothly, ensuring our team delivers top-notch service and fresh, quality food every time. You’ll be responsible for:

·       Lead and support team members during shifts

·       Train, coach, and motivate staff to deliver top performance

·       Foster a positive and inclusive team culture

·       Assist in rostering and managing shift coverage

·       Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures

·       Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

·       Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste

·       Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs

·       Ensure the store follows all health, safety, and compliance regulations

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant

·       Act as the key point of contact between team members and management

·       Provide shift reports and updates on store performance

·       Assist in implementing new policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

• Strong and demonstrated supervisor experience
• Leadership skills; motivating and leading a young team
• Strong customer service skills
• Understanding and ability to enforce food safety regulations
• Flexibility and able to adapt to change
• Attention to detail to ensure the store is clean and in good running order
• Training and development experience (Desirable)
• Motivation to keep your team motivated and on task
• Ability to work as a team with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast food industry
