An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual as a full-time FBO and Charter Coordinator based at Adelaide Airport.
Reporting to:
This position reports to the Adelaide Airport Manager.
Position responsibilities:
- Be the primary contact for the Adelaide Fixed Based Operation (FBO)
- Managing the end-to-end FBO charter process including acceptance, pricing, staffing, securing third party contractor services and coordination onsite for arrival and departing aircraft
- Support the management of existing client contracts including developing strong client relationships with existing clients, along with actively supporting new client opportunities
- In concert with the Rex Group Safety Department, investigate any safety-related or dangerous goods related incidents and implement any corrective action or procedures
- Assist in coordination and execution of Rex Group charter requirements for schedule and adhoc services
- Monitor and manage performance of FBO and charter operation incl. providing administrational support
- Complete Ground Operations training to upskill ground handling personnel, engineering, outports, and third-party contractors
- Assisting the Adelaide Airport Manager with other duties as required
- The nature of this role means that after hours and weekend work will be required
Skills and Experience
- Eligibility to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to on time performance
- Previous customer service experience mandatory
- Able to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings and weekend work
- A strong work ethic, who can work well within a diverse community of highly motivated stakeholders
- Proficiency with computer productivity applications such as Microsoft Office (advanced IT skills would be highly regarded)
- Ability to work unsupervised
