Reporting to the Team Leader Civil Maintenance, this role is responsible for delivering Council’s footpath grinding program, identifying and addressing trip hazards to ensure public walkways remain safe and accessible. While this is the primary focus of the position, the successful candidate will bring a flexible and team-oriented approach, providing support across other civil maintenance activities when required to meet operational priorities and service delivery needs.
Our Civil Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining and improving the city's footpaths, kerbs, paving, storm-water infrastructure and associated assets. Based at our Golden Grove Operations Centre, the team delivers both planned and reactive maintenance programs to ensure our streets, reserves and public spaces remain safe, accessible and well-maintained for the community.

Salary range is between $75,220 and $76,478 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
