A global company who specialises in cooling, critical power and power systems across healthcare, datacentres and industrial are looking for an experienced UPS Electrician / Field Service Technician to join their team.

Your new role

As UPS Technician you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of power backup systems, to safeguard sensitive equipment and maintaining business continuity, where you will be responsible for the following:

Installation and commissioning of UPS systems according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.

Performing routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to ensure UPS systems are functioning optimally.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues with UPS systems, including electrical faults, battery problems, and connectivity issues.

Repairing or replacing defective components, such as batteries, capacitors, inverters, or circuit boards, to restore UPS functionality.

Upgrading UPS systems with new components or features to improve performance or meet changing requirements.

Maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades for compliance and reference purposes.

Providing training to end-users or client personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.

Following WHS processes and procedures.

Client liaison

What you'll need to succeed

NSW Electrical Licence

NSW Driving Licence

Clear criminal history

Physically fit

Previous UPS experience
