The Opportunity You will be an outstanding Field Service Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality technical direction, training, and support to customers in the clinical diagnostics and research sectors. Within this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical service to new and existing customers through the installation, calibration, repair, training, and maintenance of equipment on-site support.
Serve as the single-point-of-contact for the provision of technical and service-related support.
Interface with company Sales, Customer Service, Applications, and Research teams to build and support professional and comprehensive customer relationship management.
Follow departmental protocol including, service call scheduling, parts ordering, Return Materials Authorization, service call logging and expense reporting.
Complete field change orders, customer complaint handling, and instrument configuration documentation for ISO compliance.
The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in engineering or relevant life sciences discipline.
At least 3 years of experience providing customer-facing engineering service and support.
Able to demonstrate proficiency in the installation, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex laboratory equipment, ideally in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting.
Willing and able to travel within ANZ to provide on-site support to interstate customers.
Exceptionally skilled in customer service and able to build rapport with a range of different professionals.
Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining mass spectrometers will be highly regarded.
