Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahon’s internal field service division, providing support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day. 

About the Role 

We are looking for Field Service - UG Mechanics to join the team! You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on Mobile Plant across our Underground Projects in Western Australia. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities  

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on Underground Earthmoving Equipment – predominately Sandvik


• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures 


• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance 


• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing


• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work 

What You’ll Bring 

• Australian-recognised trade (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent)


• Experience working on Sandvik Earthmoving Equipment


• MANUAL Australian Driver’s Licence


• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed


• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality
