Seeking a Field Service Technician for a leading national company specialising in providing complete workshop solutions for the heavy vehicle and mining industries. Working throughout NSW, the successful candidate will be provided with a fully maintained vehicle, tools of the trade, bonuses, and be given the opportunity to travel throughout Australia.

With a diverse range of machinery from large hoists and overhead cranes to complete workshop fit-outs, this role will assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment as well as providing regular scheduled maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you must be willing to work autonomously and be technically minded. Any previous experience in mechanical fitting or repairing hydraulic equipment would be highly advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
All aspects of installation, fault finding, diagnosis, and service/mechanical repairs on a range of equipment such as vehicle service equipment, hoists, and lifts
Manage all site installations as per company requirements
Provide training and support to clients after the installation of new products
Conduct mechanical and hydraulic repairs as required
Provide timely and detailed diagnostics and service reports
Key Requirements:
Ability to travel interstate occasionally to support other Service Technicians
Previous experience in a maintenance or technical service role
Ability to read, review, and interpret maintenance and repair manuals, installation drawings, and manuals
Excellent communication/presentation skills in both written and verbal
A professional approach to all your work
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong customer service skills
