Field Service Technician

About the RoleDriven by growth and an expanding customer base, Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction Division has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician. This role is responsible for after sales service, maintenance, and the diagnosis of faults for repair in the field across Sydney and throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery
• Major and minor services
• New machine builds
• Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
• Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
• Complete Service Reports
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

About you

• Trade qualified in Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Flexibility to travel and work over-time as required
• Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
• Extensive Heavy vehicle industry or crane experience
• Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
• A current driver’s license
• Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
