Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Project Co-ordinator based in Melbourne

About the Role:

This role involves supporting and coordinating activities related to the design and construction of Opticomm’s network infrastructure. Additionally, it includes actively participating in initiatives to enhance operational processes.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and completion of project tasks
  • Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation of project issues and resolutions
  • Coordination of both internal and contractor field resources to meet delivery schedules and RSP expectations
  • Validation of fibre test results
  • Monitoring and escalating tickets to ensure compliance with SLA metrics
  • Data entry and administration of Opticomm’s systems database and Project Management tools
  • Administration of Opticomm’s DBYD (Dial Before You Dig) requests and registrations
  • Ensure the timely resolution of faults in line with SLA expectations by leveraging internal technical staff and external contractors, covering a spectrum of issues including customer, network, and headend faults.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role from a Telecommunications background is preferred
  • Incident / Fault Ticket management experience
  • Experience with Field Resource coordination and working with distributed sub-contractor networks
  • Knowledge of Fibre to The Home infrastructure and systems
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite
  • Field Operations/Network awareness
  • Customer service liaison skills
  • Basic understanding of Data Networks and Equipment beneficial
  • General administration and data entry
