THE ROLE
As a pivotal member of our finance department, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into a diverse range of tasks that keep our financial engine running smoothly.

Your role will involve transforming our invoice management, steering accounts payable and receivable with care, and ensuring our bank statements reflect our financial activities accurately. You’ll also craft financial reports that capture our fiscal narrative and lead compliance in BAS reporting, all while maintaining clarity in our financial processes.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you’ll also lend your talents to administrative tasks, supporting the rhythm of our daily operations.


What You’ll Do:

As a financial manager, you’ll orchestrate the daily symphony of numbers and transactions that keep our business in perfect harmony. Here’s the role you’ll play in our ensemble:

  • Transaction Maestro: Conduct every note of our daily accounting transactions with precision and flair.
  • Accounts Virtuoso: Master the art of payable and receivable management, ensuring every financial interaction hits the right note.
  • Payroll Composer: Score the perfect payroll, ensuring each member of our team is rewarded in tune with their contributions.
  • Bank Reconciliation Specialist: Reconcile bank accounts with an expert’s touch, aligning every transaction to our financial melody.
  • Expense Claims Conductor: Manage employee expense claims with a keen eye, ensuring accuracy and fairness in every reimbursement.
  • Financial Reporting Analyst: Prepare monthly financial reports that resonate with clarity and insight, guiding our strategic decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Advisor: Assist with annual budgets and forecasts, projecting the future financial score of our enterprise.
  • Cash Flow Guardian: Oversee cash flow management, safeguarding the liquidity and financial health of our organisation.
  • Compliance Champion: Ensure timely lodgement of monthly IAS and quarterly BAS, keeping us in perfect pitch with regulatory requirements.
  • External Liaison: Harmonise our financial narrative with external accountants, ensuring our financial records sing the same tune.
  • Administrative Maestro: Perform basic administrative duties with a flourish, from contract management to purchase order processing and tracking.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience 
  • Advanced experience with Xero Accounting Platform
  • Accounting Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
  • Flexible approach to all work duties and can work independently
  • Ability to proficiently engage with team members, customers, and suppliers
  • Highly regarded - accredited chartered accountants
