Finance Business Partner

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

My client is a global leader within the distribution and logistics sector. With domestic turnover exceeding $1bn, they are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team for a 12-month contract (covering maternity leave).

The role is responsible for working with the finance team to provide accurate and timely accounting and reporting for month end close, budgeting and forecasting and business unit P&L reporting. While also, partnering the business with finance and decision support to assist with the commercial management of the business

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Support the timely and accurate completion of Daily Sales Reporting and all other assigned period close activities such as journals and reconciliations within the required timelines
• Partner closely with our Open Distribution & Accessories team to support P&L
• reporting, analysis, validation and commentary.
• Assist with Budget and Forecast requirements such as collation of information and working with the business to ensure all requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Actively support the finance partner model to the business through the business case development and
• Support the Finance Manager - FP&A with analysis & business intelligence for consideration of tax matters

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

• CA / CPA Qualified with at least 1 year experience in a similar role
• Exposure to Supply Chain, Distribution and Financial Services sector
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple deliverables within time restraints and system capability
• Experience working in a large multinational company is highly regarded
• Ideally worked in Shared Services environments
• Intermediate Excel & MS Office Skills are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of ERPs
• Exposure to BI Reporting Tools & Systems would be highly regarded
