Finance Business Partner - North Sydney - Up to $120K+Super+Bonus
Your new company Join a global leading organisation with a strong focus within hospitality and support services. Currently hiring a commercially focused Business Partner to join a fast-paced, dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational leaders, supporting major hospitality environments and driving commercial performance across a diverse portfolio whilst also supporting a team of junior accountants.
Your new role -Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting-Deliver clear, insightful performance reporting, analysis, and commentary to drive decision-making and value creation -Support planning cycles including forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning -Build and maintain commercial models, supporting contract changes and pricing decisions -Act as a key business partner to operational teams, providing financial guidance to corporate clients -Serve as a commercial contact for client queries and contract related matters -Prepare high-quality reporting packs and presentations for senior leadership -Assist with the lead and development of a team, supporting performance and workflow management
What you'll need to succeed -Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or related field-Proven experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role -Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in reporting, forecasting, and analysis -Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to partner effectively with operations and non-finance teams -Experience in fast-paced, operational environments (hospitality, venues, retail, or services highly regarded) -Leadership capability or progression to step into a leadership role, managing or mentoring team members -Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools advantageous -CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) preferred
