Finance Manager

This large private property development group has a strong multi-billion dollar pipeline of projects in place and is well set for future growth. As part of this they are looking for a new Finance Manager to come on board and take ownership of their project accounting function.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will entail:

• Lead, develop and mentor a team of Project Accountants
• Oversight of all project accounting requirements including P&L review, Balance Sheet control, and monthly reporting
• Business partnering with Development and Project Managers
• Review and enhancement of project controls
• Management of settlements and project call notices
• Implementation and development of system and reporting tools
• Cost control and cashflow management

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years of experience at Senior Accountant/Finance Manager level ideally from a construction/development background or be a Manager in a Big 4/2nd Tier chartered firm and have previously directly managed staff. Strong Excel and system skills, as well as experience in developing and rolling out new processes are key. In addition, excellent business partnering abilities, a positive approach, and ability to operate in a complex environment are essential.
