Finance Manager

Finance Manager/ Accountant is required for a growing business within the renewable energy sector. Your new company
Our client is a growing business within the renewable energy sector, a busy and fast paced business that is growing rapidly. Located south of the river, this role will be based 5 days in the office.
Your new role

• Manage end to end finance operations, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and support all statutory compliance requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable, purchasing coordination, and supplier payments.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cashflow.
• Manage inventory accounting, including goods receipting, stock journals, and monthly stocktake with the warehouse manager.
• Handle general ledger maintenance, prepayments, insurance, and month-end journals.
• Reconcile and record customer payments across a large client base (100+ customers).
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and admin teams to ensure accurate financial data

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a CA/ CPA qualified Accountant with a strong background in inventory accounting and has ideally worked in retail, wholesale or renewable energy businesses previously. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable due to frequent communication with suppliers located overseas and the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be able to pick up bespoke systems quickly and is someone who can work independently.
