As we enter the next phase of our growth journey, we’re seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial function and play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

About the role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial leadership, including:

• End‑to‑end financial management of the business


• Monthly management reporting, forecasting, and cashflow planning


• Budgeting, financial modelling, and commercial analysis


• Oversight of payroll, GST, BAS, and statutory compliance


• Working capital and project margin visibility

• Supporting the Managing Director and leadership team with clear, practical financial insights


• Improving systems, processes, and financial discipline across the business


• Managing and mentoring finance support resources where required

This role is about ownership, foresight, and judgement, not micromanagement.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

• A qualified CPA or CA (or actively working toward qualification)


• Experienced in senior finance or financial controller‑level roles within SMEs or project‑based businesses


• Commercially minded, with the ability to translate numbers into clear business decisions


• Comfortable working closely with founders / owners / executive teams


• Detail‑driven, disciplined, and strong on governance, without losing pragmatism


• Confident, calm, and trusted, someone others naturally rely on

Experience with MYOB / Xero, strong Excel skills, and hands‑on Australian payroll and compliance knowledge are essential.
