The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial control workstreams while supporting the Financial Controller and broader finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading core financial accounting activities, including month-end, statutory reporting and balance sheet integrity
• Owning complex accounting areas such as fixed assets, capital projects and related reconciliations
• Partnering with treasury to support funding activities, cash flow management and financial instrument accounting
• Providing technical accounting guidance, including preparation of position papers and policy development
• Supporting tax and compliance activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors
• Driving process improvements across financial control, reporting and systems
• Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring robust controls and documentation
• Contributing to financial reporting outputs including half-year and year-end reporting packs

Your Profile

You will be a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with a strong technical accounting foundation, ideally developed within a large or complex organisation.

• Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting and audit within a mid-to-large scale environment
• Strong technical expertise across accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
• Experience managing complex areas such as fixed assets, capital accounting, or treasury-related work streams
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting guidance, including drafting technical papers
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across finance and non-finance teams
• A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and continuous optimisation
