Your Impact

As part of our dynamic team, you will:

• Manage the Finance Business Partnering Group, guiding the preparation, monitoring, and reporting throughout planning, budgeting cycles, and forecasting.
• Utilise advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis to forecast potential impacts on investment profiles and projections.
• Deliver timely finance-related briefs and papers for key meetings, ensuring executive and board members are well-informed.
• Prepare meticulous annual financial statements and budgets, meticulously aligning with legislative standards and accounting best practices.
• Manage QLeave's taxation activities and obligations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as FBT, BAS, GST, and payroll tax.
• Drive transformative change and enhance financial management systems and processes, supporting our digital strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders, optimising financial performance reporting and identifying avenues to enhance our investment profile.
• Lead the risk assurance statement process and collaborate on strategic risk mitigation strategies across functions.
• Contribute to the review and enhancement of financial management and investment policies, ensuring alignment with QLeave's framework.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning within your team, driving efficiency and excellence in outcomes.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by your supervisor.

This position reports to the Manager of Scheme Sustainability, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.  You will oversee a team of Finance Business Partners.

• Demonstrated leadership in driving finance and investment teams through effective business partnering.
• Extensive experience in financial management, showcasing strong leadership skills and team management abilities.
• Ability to analyse situations from multiple angles, integrating diverse information to grasp broader implications.
• Proficiency in strategic collaboration at an executive level, fostering cross-organizational connections to enhance service delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of financial administration legislation and accounting standards.
• Familiarity with innovative planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools.

While not mandatory, CPA and CA qualifications will be advantageous.
