Your new role As a key member of the Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the organisation's Accounts Payable function. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage a substantial volume of international invoices, uphold financial data integrity, and act as the primary contact for all Accounts Payable related enquiries. This role is well suited to someone who values structured processes, enjoys detailed financial work, and is committed to delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
Process international supplier invoices with accuracy and appropriate financial coding
Verify availability of funds and escalate discrepancies or concerns
Prepare and post month-end journals and adjustment entries
Maintain audit-ready financial documentation and ensure compliance with policies and controls
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve invoice issues and identify process improvements
Respond to internal and external Accounts Payable queries promptly and professionally
Strengthen internal controls by identifying potential risks or process setbacks early
What you'll need to succeed You pride yourself on precision, consistency, and supporting the financial integrity of the organisation. You enjoy working with data, resolving process challenges, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end Accounts Payable workflow. You are confident working independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. You can communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels and provide guidance on finance processes when required.
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Transactional Finance
High attention to detail and strong data entry capability
Ability to manage high volume tasks accurately and within deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team
A process-driven mindset, with strong organisation and a commitment to continuous improvement
This role requires NV1 clearance
