We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support our finance function on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a varied role with a primary focus on payroll support, statutory and compliance reporting, and key finance operations. The role works closely with the Financial Accountant, Payroll and broader Finance team, contributing to accurate reporting, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end payroll processing, including new starters, employee changes, timesheets, leave, terminations, superannuation and payroll tax submissions.
Act as payroll backup and support planned payroll project.
Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) activities, including driver and car parking logbooks, meal entertainment expense reviews and reporting.
Prepare internal compliance reports for review.
Prepare statutory reports including Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys and Payment Times Reporting Scheme (PTRS).
Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations and journals as required.
Provide support across finance administration, ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.
About You
Strong and demonstrable experience in a Finance Officer / Accounts Officer role.
Strong payroll experience with sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Experience using accounting systems (MS Dynamics NAV preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including intermediate Excel skills.
Team-focused, adaptable and able to work independently when required.
