Job Description - Finance Operations Coordinator

Your Role & Team

As our Finance Team continues to grow, we are exciting to bring into the team, another awesome Finance Operations Coordinator.

This role will see you support our Finance and Operations Teams as a true all-rounder, ensuring CreditorWatch's financial operations are working in an efficient and effective manner.

This role reports directly to Senior Finance Operations Associate and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Manage accounts receivable function.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Reconcile and close of the debtor ledger within month end timelines.
  • Ensure daily completion of bank reconciliations & accounting adjustments.
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports to relevant parties.
  • Prepare management reports and update procedures.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a passion for all things numbers. You’ll have the ability to work within set work schedules and reporting timelines, solid prioritisation and organisational skills including speed, accuracy and attention to detail. Your computer software and accounting packages skills will be strong, being able to seamlessly use MS Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables).

Lastly, you’ll be degree qualified within the accounting space, and working towards a CPA/ CA.
