About the role
The Finance Solutions Developer is responsible for integrating technology into financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong qualifications and experience in analytics, SQL and a passion for problem-solving. You will leverage
your technical expertise to design, develop and implement automated financial solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring high accuracy and seamless end-to-end operations.
Your work will empower smarter, faster, and more data-driven decisions across finance, trading, and commercial teams, driving efficiency, transparency, and
strategic insight across the organisation.
This is a 12 month maximum-term role based in Melbourne.
What You'll Be Doing
What You'll Bring
Degree in Engineering, Analytics, Computer or Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
Strong coding expertise in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or others, with experience in developing, automating, and maintaining financial systems.
Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Experience with database management, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
High attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Passion for understanding the sector’s financial drivers and data intricacies and nuances.
