We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will possess strong financial accounting skills and either a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape or be passionate about their expertise and what they do functionally. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and reporting 
• Maintain accuracy of key balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of variances 
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial and variance reports with clear business insights 
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes 
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations including BAS, FBT and annual returns 
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations 
• Assist with statutory reporting and internal and external audits 
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business decisions 
• Provide reliable and timely support to the Finance Manager and the wider Finance team with any ad-hoc tasks, as requested 
• Work with other departments as part of a broader team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• 3+ years’ experience in financial or management accounting roles 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends 
• Demonstrated ownership of month-end close processes and reporting deliverables 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong capability in financial modelling and analysis 
• Familiarity with ERP systems and cloud-based accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, or similar) 
• Proven ability to prioritise, plan and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment 
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong sense of accountability 
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across finance and non-finance stakeholders 
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements 
• Committed to learning and professional growth, both personally and for the team 
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics
