Financial Accountant - Join a Leading Company

About the Company: We are Australian founded and run business expanding into the USA and India. We are an innovation company with patented software that brings a multiple of technologies into a single platform, combining innovative cryptography, data privacy, confidential computing, and distributed ledger technologies into a highly customizable identity platform with full audit trail in near real time.

Our operations are based in Australia, Southeast Asia, USA and India. Our customer base is creasing rapidly and so are the financial transactions, processes, employee base, etc. Our customers are of a ‘small value-high volume’ in nature. We are looking for a switched-on Financial Accountant who is not only capable of handling the financial transaction load but is also adept in budgeting, internal auditing, providing strategic advice and creating processes and procedures for different offices of TrusGrid™.

The candidate will also be looking at transactions from Southeast Asia, USA and India.

About the Role: You will take responsibility for the day to day accounting functions and collaborating closely with the Global Financial Controller. You will gain exposure to a vast array of challenges in addition to the basis duties as our business continues to grow rapidly.

Responsibilities and Key duties:

You are expected to carry out the following duties (but not limited to)

• Preparing monthly financial statements – profit and loss and balance sheet, statements, cash flow statements and budgets. 
• You will also be handling financial transaction of our Australia, Southeast Asia, India and USA operations
• Reconciliation of various financial accounts.
• Reconciling GST liabilities and assisting in BAS return.
• Utilising TrusGrid’s accounting and Financial software to manage financial transactions and generate management reports
• International payroll administration
• Management reporting i.e. extracting various reports like project profitability, AR aging, etc. for management review.
• Working to establish budgeting process
• Carrying out financial process auditing 
• Advising management on financial situation with regards to company policy in real time
• Assisting in examining TrustGrid’s operating costs, income and expenditure in line with company policy and advise on best business practices.
• Assisting in year-end closings
• Preparing trial balances
• Helping in creation of project viability statements enabling management to forecast project profitability.

About you:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferable.
• Relevant professional certification or currently studying towards getting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) are preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounting or a related financial role, preferably in an in-house capacity.
• Good working knowledge of prevalent accounting software and financial management systems.
• Hard working, Attention to detail, Willing to learn and challenge status quo.
• Passionate, able to handle multiple and work in very fast-paced organisation.
