- Essential part of the Senior Management team which includes providing fiscal support and insights to enable the lead team to make critical and sound business decisions
- Manage all respects of the financial reporting and compliance for the organisation including but not limited to Statutory, Management and Tax Matters
- Manage Cash flow and treasury controls including aspects of banking and borrowing relationships
- Manage and control the Financial Systems in the business (MYOB & WMS)
- Some HR functions including, recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff including Contract Management
- Participate in commercial decision making from margin analysis, pricing analysis etc
- Manage and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
- The scope will also include certain aspects of Contract Management, Inventory Systems Control, IT and Marketing related business
Profile:
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Ideally you will be CPA or CA qualified or working towards it and will have a track record in leading small to medium sized teams and working with the leadership or senior management team to drive overall business strategy. Previous experience working in industries such as manufacturing, services, food services or similar industries will be highly regarded.
